Lauren & Logan // Malibu Engagement Session
Lauren & Logan are THE CUTEST college sweethearts, and their beachy engagement session was a wonderful-magical-windy-romantic giggle fest.
After meeting at a college basketball game, L & L became inseparable. Once they graduated, the two leveled up from boyfriend & girlfriend when they decided to be roommates, and their relationship grew even stronger.
After making it through a whole pandemic as roomies and sharing countless memories as a couple, Logan proposed to Lauren on the beach—a place where they spend tons of time together. According to Logan’s Instagram caption from their engagement, “she said no :(.” However, don’t believe everything you read.. because she actually said yes.
I first met this beautiful couple a year and a half ago at Lauren’s brother’s wedding! This past summer, I ran into them again at one of their friend’s wedding celebrations, and Logan joked that I would “be seeing him again soon,” referencing his plans to propose! He wasn’t kidding, because a few months later, Lauren’s name popped up in my email asking about photography for their big day! I am thrilled they decided to follow in their trusted fam & friend’s footsteps and have me at their wedding this fall.
It was so fun getting to know L & L better at their engagement session, since we’d only briefly crossed paths at previous events. We met up in Malibu on the perfect spring day, and explored around the beach as the wind GUSTED up on the cliffs and the sun set on the horizon.
These two were like freakin’ engagement photo models, and were SO natural in front of the camera. They were non-stop giggling, so lovey-dovey, & clearly just enjoying hanging out with each other (and me) at the beach—the dream! I just knew I was going to be obsessed with their photos & have a hard time narrowing down favorites… even as we were taking them. They made my job so easy and we all had an epic time capturing their sweet love! We finished up their session with the most hilarious champagne popping celebration of all-time, and I left with a huge smile on my face, while Lauren left… well… covered in champagne.
I cannot wait for November. :)
