Jasmine & AJ // Thousand Oaks Engagement + Family Session

I went to high school with Jasmine, & always thought she was the SWEETEST and kindest soul. Every time we interacted, I would walk away with a warm feeling—she has a way of making people feel comfortable AND like they’re the funniest person in the world (as she has an adorable, affirming tendency to giggle at anything semi-funny.) I was so excited when two years ago, Jasmine got engaged to AJ & reached out to me about her wedding!

After meeting the couple at a coffee shop and seeing how perfect AJ was for Jasmine, I was so excited to be a part of their wedding as their photographer. Soon after we got together, Jasmine found out she was expecting little Kennedy! Priorities were (obviously) rearranged and the wedding was pushed back a year. Time FLEW and here we are, (hopefully) 4 months away from their upcoming wedding.

This weekend I finally got to meet baby Kennedy (10/10 cutest child of all time?!) and catch up with Jasmine & AJ for some engagement + family photos! We ventured out to the mountains and basically laughed for an hour. Photographing these two was so FUN & they made it so dang easy. At one point, I asked AJ what it was like to be engaged to the most beautiful woman on EARTH because… wow. Jasmine & AJ are so natural together, and they cracked me (and each other) up the whole shoot. Having Kennedy join for some family photos was an added bonus, and I am SO in love with the images from their session.

I cannot wait to celebrate with these two as they become husband & wife, whether it’s this November or somewhere down the line!
