Jenna & Mike // Marina del Rey Catamaran Vow Renewal

Jenna & Mike were supposed to renew their vows on their 10th anniversary… in Greece. Then COVID came along. Having no choice but to replan their celebration, these two developed a jaw-droppingly beautiful back-up plan. Instead of flying to Greece with their 10 closest family & friends, the couple & their party people boarded a catamaran in Marina del Rey to celebrate 10 years of the Speers!

I was so excited when Jenna asked me to tag along and photograph their vow renewal. It was incredibly special to spend the day with the couple & their son, Kasen, who got to really witness & experience the love his parents share by taking part in their anniversary celebration. In a short & sweet 20-minute ceremony, the pair shared meaningful vows with one another and reflected on their first decade as husband & wife. After exchanging vows & rings, their son got to pronounce them husband & wife (again) and tell his Dad to kiss his Mom. IT WAS SO DANG CUTE.

The evening was an actual dream, with perfect weather and an air of pure joy and excitement, & I couldn’t believe I was spending my Thursday aboard a catamaran in the middle of the ocean. Jenna & Mike’s relationship is SO fun & care-free, and the party was an absolute blast. Family & friends ate sushi, sipped cocktails, and danced the day away in matching white sunglasses as the sun set over the horizon. It couldn’t have been more perfect, and I can’t wait until 2030 when we all do it again… maybe in Greece?!?! ;)

Congratulations on 10 beautiful years, cute Speers!
