Gianna & Kevin // Cielo Farms Malibu Wedding

Gianna & Kevin's stunningly beautiful Cielo Farms wedding came together in just 24 hours. 

Yep, ya read that right. Let’s travel back in time two weeks: Gianna and her family planned a last minute intimate Malibu wedding at an Airbnb property in the mountains. They reserved vendors, sent final invites, arranged a way to stream their ceremony on Zoom to friends & family who couldn’t attend, and began make final preparations for the big day. Before all of these plans, the couple was originally supposed to tie the knot in NYC in April. BUT, of course, Covid happened, so they scrapped those plans and rerouted. 

A few weeks ago, the NEW plan for this intimate wedding began to take form. However, the day before their celebration, Gianna and her family drove up to the property they reserved.. only to find that the road was insanely windy and concerningly dangerous to drive. They immediately realized they needed to hatch yet another plan, and QUICKLY. That's when their epic florist, Sarah at XO Bloom, introduced them to a genie named Rob. A wedding wizard capable of just about anything, Rob helped the couple put together a drop-dead gorgeous wedding ceremony at Cielo Farms and a sweet reception at Saddle Rock Hilltop.

Rob is the kind of person who just gets sh*t done. He's unstoppable in the face of a problem, fiercely passionate about facilitating beautifully styled wedding experiences, and has a practiced mantra of “the bride’s needs and wants come first, everything else comes after.” Bringing a dream-team of vendors on board, including the incredibly talented Kelly Patrice, Rob helped Gianna and Kevin have one of the most picture-perfect weddings I've ever seen. With just one day to organize the details, it was crazy impressive.. to say the least. 

When the big day arrived, I met Gianna in the loft of Cielo Farms. On the afternoon of her wedding, her giant smile & joyful mood just radiated. I soon met Kevin, and found that he carries himself with the same calmness, care-free spirit, and warmth. After spending the day with these two, it’s NO surprise to me that they hit it off after meeting on Tinder about 5 years ago. With a shared love of adventure, the outdoors, and their new adorable dog Winston, this couple is pure perfection together. While photographing them, they quickly felt like just two of my pals, and their constant positivity and excitement was contagious. They were nonstop smiling, were so comfortable getting snuggly in front of the camera, and didn’t think twice while spending a whole hour out in the 95º heat for some beautiful pictures. I couldn’t get over the PURE love & thrill on their faces from the moment Kevin saw Gianna during their first look, to the very end of the evening at their reception. 

Their wedding day, despite the turbulent journey of reorganizing & replanning leading up to it, went perfectly. Gianna & Kevin had a stunning ceremony, complete with ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING floral designs by XO Bloom and elegant seating by Premiere Rentals. As the sun set over the mountains behind them, Gianna walked down the aisle to Hallelujah & met Kevin at the (beautifully floral adorned) arch. The couple spoke sweet vows, and after they exchanged rings and created a sand unity vase, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. 

After their ceremony, guests headed to the nearby Saddle Rock Hilltop for a short & sweet reception. The couple had their first dance to a sweet George Ezra song (my favorite!!!) as the sun fell behind the mountain, and then listened to toasts from family and friends at their flawlessly decorated sweetheart table. After cutting their tasty Nothing Bundt Cakes wedding cake and taking a few shots (and pictures) with pals, the couple mingled and laughed the night away with live music adding a perfect ambiance to the evening.

Although it came together miraculously & very last-minute, I can’t think of a way their wedding day could’ve been any more perfect or any sweeter. I am low-key in love with Gi & Kev???? & look forward to hanging out with them and their pup sometime real soon!
