Michelle & Taylor // Malibu Beach Engagement Session

Michelle & Taylor have one of the wildest, sweetest love stories ever.

They met for the first time in KINDERGARTEN, and on a school field trip, Taylor mentioned to his friend that he was going to marry Michelle. Well, right behind little baby Taylor was one of the chaperones of the trip, Michelle’s MOM, and she remembers the moment Taylor made that lofty claim clear as day.

Fast forward 20 years— 

Taylor & Michelle have been the best of pals for their entire lives, but have always been just platonic friends. After 20+ years of friendship, on one fateful evening when they were both single for the first time in a long time, they finally kissed and the rest is history. After a lifetime of loving and fulfilling friendship, the couple fell easily into their new roles as boyfriend & girlfriend.

It didn’t take long at all for the pair to realize that their love was a forever thing. Everyone dreams of having a partner who is like a best friend—someone who you can rely on, feel safe around, laugh with, adventure with, and feel fully supported by. Michelle and Taylor had that best friendship before they everrrr even kissed, so once they were TOGETHER, there was no doubt in their minds that they’d always be together. 

Soon after, Taylor made things officially official by proposing to Michelle… and then surprising when her twin + her entire family emerged from amongst the forest to celebrate. :’) 

I met Michelle in college, and was THRILLED when she reached out for some engagement photos. We headed to the beach down in Malibu, and had such a lovely time catching up & capturing some pix of the little kindergarten lovebirds all grown up. I cannot get over how perfect this couple is together, and am counting down the days to their 2025 wedding celebration.
