Alexa & Matt // El Matador Beach Engagements

Matt & Alexa are high school sweethearts, and met for the first time when Matt guided Alexa’s HIGH SCHOOL TOUR! Her mom maaayyy or may not have commented to Alexa how Matt was cute and allsoo may have said that she should date him (lol). Well, I suppose mothers DO know best because down the line, these two did fall for each other and have been together ever since.

The love between them is freakin’ electric. I remarked how comfortable they looked together, and we decided that when you’ve been together for 5+ years (and have taken Christmas card photos together every one of those years) “looking” in love (lol) is easier. These two were so giggly & comfortable in front of the camera, and besides tripping on a few rocks, our time together was a blast!

El Matador beach in Malibu is one of the most breathtaking spots in Southern CA, so it is always a joy to put beautiful subjects in front of its countless stunning backdrops. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the water and took some silly—magical—romantic—precious photos. These two made it easy! I can’t wait for their wedding next summer at Calamigos Ranch!
