RJ & Danielle // Thousand Oaks Engagements

Let it be known that my favorite group text I’m a part of is the one between me, RJ, & Danielle. It’s full of gifs, absurdity, and always makes me smile.

I met these two a while back for coffee after RJ emailed me saying he was “marrying the love of his life” and thought I’d be a good fit as their photographer. Within a few minutes, I knew that I wanted to be a part of their lives; their fun-loving energy & bright personalities drew me in instantly, and the love they shared was incredibly evident in their interactions with one another. RJ surprises Danielle constantly with little trips & gifts, & Danielle loves on RJ & their two dogs with a heart bigger than the sun. They really are the sweetest soulmates!

After countless rain dances & weather app stalking, we were SO excited to have perfect weather for their engagement session in Wildwood Regional Park in Thousand Oaks. When we drove up, the sun was beaming through the clouds and set the most romantic, whimsical scene for us to shoot.

Taking & editing these photos made my tiny heart grow seven sizes because Danielle and RJ were SO fun to photograph and were down for anything. I think their images came out in a way that reflects their personality & love for one another. & I AM SO EXCITED FOR THEIR WEDDING IN AUGUST I can’t stand it.
