Laura & Nick // Thousand Oaks Engagement Session

Laura & Nick have basically been together since high school. They grew up in the same city, were in the same circle of friends, and formed a close friendship that blossomed into a relationship. They coincidentally got into & attended the same college, and although they took a little break from their relationship, they still spent time together in San Luis Obispo as pals. After getting to know each other and establishing a deeper friendship, they fell for each other once again and have been together ever since.

Nick proposed to Laura in ROME!!!!! She was on vacation with her family and Nick planned everything without Laura having a clue. When the big evening arrived, Nick snuck into the restaurant Laura was eating at with her family, surprised her with the fact that HE WAS IN ROME, and popped the question. With that knowledge, you shouldn’t be surprised to see pizza as the main theme of their engagement session.

These photos are 100% THEM and I had the best time capturing this time in their lives. We spent an evening together in the hills near where Laura, Nick & I all grew up! We played their favorite rap songs, ate pizza, and had the time of our lives.

I can’t wait for their Ojai wedding on PI day next year! I am certain there will be more pizza.
